What is the minimum age for Brighton Trail Marathon participants?
You must be 18 years old by the 26th June 2022 to take part in the Brighton Trail Marathon.
Is the Brighton Trail Weekend Canicross friendly?
Unfortunately at this stage we cannot confirm if we will be allowing Canicross at the event. However, we are working with stakeholders to try to make this an option for you and will update our participants with any further information.
What are the Brighton Trail Marathon terms and conditions?
I didn’t buy a snood when I registered, can I still purchase one?
Yes, to purchase a snood, please visit our store here!
Will I get a t-shirt and medal?
Yes! You will receive a beautiful and unique wooden medal made using trees from Stanmer Park (find out more) and an official event technical t-shirt, unless you choose to plant a tree instead.
Is the Brighton Trail Marathon partnered with ITRA?
We’re proud to partner with ITRA (International Trail Running Association), the governing body for trail running.
Each runner taking part in Brighton Trail Marathon will be rewarded with 1 ITRA point and ranked accordingly. ITRA points are accumulated by trail runners, which then allow them to enter trail races that are at the right level/challenge for their points.
We’ve also had Brighton Trail Marathon added to the list of qualifying races for the Ultra Trail Mont Blanc week, and one point will be awarded. You can visit the ITRA site to find out more about other trail events that points will help you qualify for.
Will there be an app for the event?
The mobile app will provide users with an interactive course map for tracking runners on the course, spectator information, results, the Participant Instructions, FAQs and more. More information on how to download it will be available nearer the event.
Will there be a bag drop service?
There will be a baggage service for the Brighton Trail Marathon. Bags can be dropped at the start and will be transported to the finish for your collection. More information will be available nearer the event.
