Unfortunately we will be unable to allow Canicross at the event.
Will there be an app for the event?
Yes, the Grounded Events App will provide users with an interactive course map for tracking runners on the course, spectator information, results, the Participant Instructions, FAQs and more. This App is currently available for download from both the App Store (Apple) and Play Store (Android).
Will there be a bag drop service?
There will be a baggage service for the Brighton Trail Marathon. Bags can be dropped at the start and will be transported to the finish for your collection. More information is available here.
10k participants will also be able to drop a bag at their start in Stanmer Park, which will be kept safe for after their finish.

When and where is the Brighton Trail Marathon?
The 2023 event will take place on Sunday 11 June 2023, starting at 8:30am from East Brighton Park and finishing in Stanmer Park.
Is there a cut off time for the Brighton Trail Marathon?
We ask participants to prepare to complete Brighton Trail Marathon at a minimum pace of 3 miles per hour (walking pace), which would see you completing the course in around 9 hours.
If you are still on the course after the 9 hour point, you will still be able to finish your challenge supported by the event team and with a medal waiting for you on the finish line.
There will be a team of back-markers who will follow behind the last participant. Back-markers will leave the start at the back of the race and stay out on the route until everyone has finished or the route closes.
How do I get my Race Pack for my Brighton Trail Weekend event?
Ahead of Brighton Trail Weekend you’ll receive your Race Pack including race number with timing chip and bag label for Bag Drop, in the post.
You can expect your race pack to arrive around two weeks ahead of the event date.
Your race number will correspond to the colour of your wave start and your bag drop and collection points.
Baggage kit bags will be given out at the Start, so please come with your belongings prepared.
Please make sure your address is up to date on the Race Roster system by logging back in here. If you can’t remember your log in details, please follow the forgotten passwords steps on their site or contact them directly.
You accept full responsibility to ensure that your contact information including postal address, email address and contact telephone number are up to date at all times. Failure to do so could result in not receiving important communications or your race pack.
Can I use a personal music playing device on the day?
Please do not use a personal music-playing device whilst participating in this event.
You will be held strictly and solely liable if found to be responsible for any harm to yourself or any third party or parties or damage to any property (whether yours or that of a third party) which arises as a result of you wearing any personal music playing device in contradiction of this advice.
