Race Day

The 2022 event will take place on Saturday 25 June 2022 in Stanmer Park. Race start times will be confirmed in coming weeks.

How do I know which age category to enter my child into?

Minimum Age: 7 years old

Maximum Age: 16 years old

If the runners birthday falls on race day then they must enter into the category of the age they are turning. For example, if a runners 11th Birthday is the 25th June, then they must be entered into the U13 category.

UNDER 9 – The runner must be 7 or 8 years old on Saturday 25th June 2022.

UNDER 11 – The runner must be 9 or 10 years old on Saturday 25th June 2022.

UNDER 13 –  The runner must be 11 or 12 years old on Saturday 25th June 2022..

UNDER 15 – The runner must be 13 or 14 years old on Saturday 25th June 2022.

UNDER 17 – The runner must be 15 or 16 years old on Saturday 25th June 2022.

Confirmation Email

When you sign up you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code, confirming your place.

Please keep this safe and file it.

It will also be re-sent before the event.

You can change most of your personal details on your account by accessing your account via: http://raceroster.com. Once logged in, please select the drop down in the top right corner, and then ‘Participant Dashboard’, from here you can update your details.

Race Packs

All Race Packs will be posted to participants.

Your Race Pack will contain:

  • Race number
  • Timing chip
  • Safety pins
  • Race T-shirt (the colour relates to the race you are participating in and you must wear it on the day)

You will also receive a goody bag when you are given your medal on Race Day.

Your child’s security

As a parent or responsible adult for the child runner you remain responsible for the whereabouts and behaviour of your child at all times. We will however ensure that marshals and stewards that come in direct contact with the children are appropriately CRB checked.
We will have a LOST person notification point, which will be at the Information point within Event Village. Please report to this area if you are a lost child or if you have lost a child.

Participant E-Newsletters

We will send all participants e-newsletters. These will contain helpful advice articles as well as event updates on a range of topics including essential information such as Participant Instructions, maps, event status, travel and race pack collection. We advise that all participants receive these but you can opt out from them if you wish. If you do opt out and decide you would like to opt back in, please email info@brightontrailweekend.co.uk
