Race Day

The event will take place on Sunday 11 June 2023, in Stanmer Park. Start time is 10am.

Participant Instructions

Your participant instructions will be sent closer to the event date.

Confirmation Email

When you sign up you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code, confirming your place.

Please keep this safe and file it. 

It will also be re-sent before the event.

You can change most of your personal details on your account by accessing your account via: http://raceroster.com. Once logged in, please select the drop down in the top right corner, and then ‘Participant Dashboard’, from here you can update your details.

Race Packs

Ahead of Brighton Trail Weekend you’ll receive your Race Pack including race number with timing chip and bag label for Bag Drop, in the post.

You can expect your race pack to arrive around two weeks ahead of the event date. If you still haven’t received it by 19th June, please contact info@brightontrailweekend.co.uk

If you enter for charity after 31st May at 23:59, then you must collect your race pack from the Start as we will be unable to post it to you in time.

Your race number will correspond to the colour of your wave start and your bag drop and collection points.

Baggage kit bags will be given out at the Start, so please come with your belongings prepared.

Please make sure your address is up to date on the Race Roster system by logging back in here. If you can’t remember your log in details, please follow the forgotten passwords steps on their site or contact them directly.

Bus Services

We will provide a FREE bus services from the finish in Stanmer Park back into Brighton city centre for participants. Information will be available soon.

Course Map

The 10k course map is available to view here.

The Brighton Trail 10k will wind through the woodland of Stanmer’s grade II registered landscape and the picturesque hills and valleys beyond.

Checkpoints and marshall support will be in place, making for a friendly and safe 10km off road adventure. One Aid Station will be on route, fully stocked with water, fruit, energy gels, snacks and more.

Finish in the Event Village, reunite with your supporters and welcome the marathon runners home in this unique and stunning setting.

Participant Emails

We send all participants regular e-newsletters. These contain helpful training advice articles as well as event updates on a range of topics including essential information such as Participant Instructions, maps, event status, travel and medical information. We advise that all participants receive these but you can opt out from them if you wish. If you do opt out and decide you would like to opt back in, please email office@brightonmarathon.co.uk

Travel & Parking

Please make sure you plan your travel well in advance for a stress-free experience and so that you are ready for Event Day.

If you need accommodation for the Brighton Marathon Weekend, we recommend you book well in advance to secure a room at the best rates as the city gets very busy over event weekend.

Web sites like booking.com often have some great deals. Or why not look for an AirBNB or private rental and enjoy a home from home?

Mobile App

The mobile app will provide users with an interactive course map for tracking runners on the course, spectator information, results, the Participant Instructions, FAQs and more.

Your safety and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us.

No matter your experience or ability, please take time to read our medical advice before you begin your training. It’s important to not only assess your physical ability, but to find out more about energy supplements, fluids, fuel and whether any medications may have an impact on your training.
